  22.  akPNG.datatype is a new PNG datatype, which is based on the
  23.  latest PNG sources (zlib V1.0.4, libpng 1.0 beta 3 - version 0.89).

  25.  So it does support 8 Bit color mapped files and True color files
  26.  (16, 24/32, 48 Bit) while 16 Bit (5:5:5/5:6:5) will be expanded,
  27.  and 48 Bit (16:16:16) will be cut down to 24 Bit (8:8:8)

  29.  With V39-V42 picture.datatype it either produces (upto) 256 color
  30.  palette-based or HAM6/8 output (256 colors exported unmodified,
  31.  24 Bit data either dithered or converted to HAM6/HAM8) with
  32.  Ralph Schmidt's picture.datatype V43 24 Bit may be done unmodified.
